Another Bald Freak pearl, buried in the deep, resurfaces. "Submarine" by Q*Ball - a collaboration between Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and myself. Bumblefoot co-wrote, co-produced, plays guitar & bass, shares backing vocal duties, and dances a jig. I wrote the lyrics, sing and play synths. Sometimes you just wanna disappear from the world, but no matter how deep you descend, it seems that things can somehow get worse.

Had enough of dry land, so much I haven't seen
Cruisin thru the ocean like a great white shark
Happy as a clam, all alone in the dark
Things were moving right along until it went wrong
Determination great, my constitution strong
But these are treacherous waters we're floating on
The tidal wave is coming
Now the calm is gone

Sitting on the edge of the rocks
Staring down, wondering just how far we can go
Just when I think that I know where the bottom is
You take us farther below

The storm is getting worse, it's time to dive
The best thing I can do to make it out alive
There's no fancy maneuvers, no way I can steer
To avoid the torpedoes that are drawing near
The water's pouring in where the hull was breached
Gotta hit the surface, but it's out of reach

I'm gonna lose it all if I don't come up for air
